9 endangered red wolf cubs were born at the North Carolina Zoo. The six cubs came in two births, the first six coming to May and Denali, and the other three coming to Roan and Marsh.
According to the zoo, as part of the zoo’s contributions to the American Red Wolf SAFE program, the nine cubs were born behind the scenes.
Red wolves, which live only in the wilderness areas of northeastern North Carolina, were also checked to ensure they were hydrated and healthy.
Furthermore, further examinations will be carried out every two weeks to ensure that the cubs remain healthy. How wonderful!
