When a sick and abandoned dog named Hope was found, it was clear that she had not been treated kindly by humans. Unable to walk and in desperate need of help, Hope’s journey to recovery and finding a loving forever home began with the compassion of strangers.

Hope was discovered by a tenderhearted woman and her partner, who noticed her lying on the ground while walking their dogs. She was clearly in pain and in need of assistance. After offering comforting words and gaining her trust, the woman was able to carry her to safety.

Once at the vet, they discovered that Hope was only four years old, had a crooked back, and a large hernia that required surgery.After spending a week at the vet clinic, Hope was placed in foster care with a woman named Krista. Initially, Hope was scared and overwhelmed, trying to hide by tucking into her own body and making herself small.

Krista spent a lot of quality time with the pup, showing her that she was safe and loved. As Hope experienced human kindness for the first time in her life, her sad eyes completely transformed.

Not only did Hope heal emotionally, but she also made significant physical progress. She gained weight, regained her strength and energy, and began to show her true personality as a happy little dog. It was a beautiful sight to see her wagging her tail, playing, giving kisses, and simply loving life.

After four months in foster care, Hope was ready to be adopted. No one could have predicted the incredible transformation she had undergone. She found the perfect forever home with a loving owner and a dog brother named Tofu. Now, Hope enjoys daily walks, cuddles with her mama and niece, and is living the best life she could have ever imagined.
