After giving birth to a dog, which appeared to be covered in cigarette burns, it was roughly disposed of from a moving truck. Left abandoned on the side of the road.
Upon discovery, by the officers, the dog exhibited walking difficulties as a result of her recent delivery.
Dubbed Robbie by the officers, this floppy dog was observed closely following a dog walker in Leighton, Crewe during the evening hours of 11 July.
Lizzie Jolly of the Cheshire Police Respect expressed concern and said “Ruby was in a jittery state – shaking and struggling to move. It was evident that she had recently given birth to a litter of puppies.”
Realizing Robbie’s plight, a resident named Neil stepped forward. He is loyal. Accompany Ruby on her walks while generously giving her a collar and leash. In the end, the authorities ensured Rubie’s health by arranging a visit to the vet the next morning.
Continuing with her account, Julianne gratefully quoted, “The vets’ assessment indicated head injuries with cigarette burns and noticeable scars on her back.”
“Moreover, Ruby faced challenges. Considering the experiences she went through, we remain very grateful, for Niels’ kindness to her.” PCSO Jolley reports that veterinarians reported that Ruby was healthy on Wednesday, July 12th. The police also arranged a home for the dog.
“Ruby didn’t have a microchip and no one contacted us or the vets about a missing dog,” she added.
Furthermore, the police made sure to examine the missing pages to locate the owner.
She added: “I would like to express my gratitude to Neil, the dog walker for bringing this matter to our attention, as well as the staff at Nantwich Vets.”
“You have all been absolutely amazing! Knowing that Ruby is in your care now brings us comfort because it is a soul that should not suffer any longer.”
Ruby, who was left at 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 11th is currently the focus of a police investigation. Police are looking for any surveillance footage, from the Queens Park Drive neighborhood.
